This impressive futuristic, architectural masterpiece was designed by esteemed local Architect, Ed Niles. It is an internationally recognized work of art made of concrete, steel, and tinted glass situated on acreage below the rolling hills of Malibu, and the rugged Santa Monica Mountains. The landscape design and installation was conceived and executed by Malibu Tree & Landscape and was intended to contrast this unique and sizable structure with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the chaparral-covered mountains by surrounding it with mature native Sycamores and other native trees, and related plantings – almost as if the whole structure had gently ‘landed’ on the grassy ground from high above. It is an enduring coupling of the home and outside grounds. A glittering blue lap pool is offset by colorful minimalist exterior sculptures and other objects d’art placed throughout the grounds. All are automatically irrigated, and lit throughout with exterior low-voltage and LED lighting.
